    Join MICAH Milwaukee's We All Belong Committee for an transformative, interactive session focused on bridging the divide to build communities of radical inclusion and opportunity. Internationally renowned scholar and advocate, Dr. john powell, will talk about bridging and belonging, two tools for building a Beloved and Democractic community. Dr. powell is the Director of the Othering and Belonging Institute, a place where organizers, policy makers, scholars, and artists advance groundbreaking solutions to systemic inequality. This session is designed for groups engaged in justice work, so bring a team! Participants will hear from Dr. powell, apply "bridging" and "belonging" to their current work in breakouts, and have the option to purchase a book to be signed by Dr. powell himself! All before lunch, which is included with each ticket.
