The MICAH Health Taskforce is dedicated to increasing access to quality health care in Milwaukee, particularly in underserved communities. We are especially concerned about the alarming Black maternal mortality rate in Wisconsin, which is five times higher than that of white women. This stark disparity highlights the urgent need for equitable health care solutions.
